The Board of Harbor Commissioners of the City of Long Beach will hold a Special Meeting pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. HD-2181, Article VII.B and Government Code Section 54956 on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. The meeting will be held at no physical location pursuant to Assembly Bill 362. The Board of Harbor Commissioners will participate in the meeting by video conference. The Civic Chambers will NOT be accessible for public observance of the meeting or public comment pursuant to Assembly Bill No. 361 approved by Governor Newsom on September 16, 2021 and Government Code section 54953(e)(1). Members of the public can observe the meeting via webcast at polb.com/webcast. Members of the public are invited to participate in the meeting during public comment or on a specific agenda item via teleconference by calling (562) 714-9893 or by emailing bhc@polb.com prior to 1:00 p.m on the day of the meeting. You will be called during the meeting on the item you specify. If you do not answer when called, we will move on to the next public speaker. Members of the public are encouraged to submit public comment requests by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. However, members of the public who desire to participate on an item may call in after 1:00 p.m. as long as they call the number that is provided below on or before one minute after the item is called. The period of one minute after the item is called will be extended to three minutes after the item is called if there is one or more speakers from the public.
