HD-26-024 Adopt Resolution and Authorize Chief Executive Officer to Execute a Reimbursement Agreement between the Port of Long Beach and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, for reimbursement of Port expenditures to review designs, plans, specifications, and agreements over a 6.1 mile segment of railroad right-of-way on the former San Pedro Branch in the cities of Bell, Huntington Park, Cudahy, South Gate, Downey, and Paramount and make the determination that the Reimbursement Agreement is necessary for the Southeast Gateway Line Project to construct the Project and reconfigure the existing freight tracks, and is a subsequent approval within the scope of the Environmental Impact Report certified by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority on April 25, 2024, where upon the Board of Harbor Commissioners based certain findings and determinations as a responsible agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act on August 26, 2024.
