24. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS

HD-21-603 Closed session pursuant to Section 54956.8 of the Government Code for conference with real property negotiator Duane Kenagy to discuss price and terms of the proposed design-build contract for the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project and subsequent conveyance of the bridge to the State of California. The negotiating parties are Shimmick Construction Company, Inc./FFC Construction S.A./Impreglio S.p.A. a joint venture and the State of California Department of Transportation.
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION

Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code (one case pertaining to additional compensation requested by Shimmick Construction Company, Inc./FCC Construction S.A./Impregilo S.P.A., A Joint Venture, arising from its construction of the new Long Beach International Gateway Bridge).
