The Board of Harbor Commissioners will participate in the meeting in person and by video conference pursuant to Assembly Bill No. 361 approved by Governor Newsom on September 16, 2021 and Government Code section 54953(e)(1). The Civic Chambers will be accessible for public observance of the meeting and public comment. However, please note that there is no free parking. Members of the public can also observe the meeting via webcast at polb.com/webcast. Members of the public are invited to participate in the meeting in person during public comment or on a specific agenda item or via teleconference by calling (562) 714-9893 or by emailing bhc@polb.com prior to 1:15 p.m on the day of the meeting. If calling, you will be asked to leave a voicemail with your name (please state it clearly), your telephone number for a return call and the item number you would like to comment on (or specify "public comment"). If emailing, please include your name, your telephone number for a return call and the item number you would like to comment on (or specify "public comment"). You will be called during the meeting on the item you specify. If you do not answer when called, we will move on to the next public speaker. Members of the public who are participating via teleconference are encouraged to submit public comment requests by 1:15 p.m. on the day of the meeting. However, members of the public who desire to participate via teleconference on an item may call in after 1:15 p.m. as long as they call the number that is provided below on or before one minute after the item is called. The period of one minute after the item is called will be extended to three minutes after the item is called if there is one or more speakers from the public.
